Riiiver B.V. and the “Riiiver: A/B Testing Copilot” Shopify app (“we”, “our”, “us”) are committed to protecting the privacy of merchants who use our Shopify app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Through Shopify’s API, we collect:

• Store information (domain, theme data, active theme code)
• Usage data (features used, interactions with the app)
• Any content you submit via the chat interface to generate theme changes

We do not collect personal data from your customers.

3. How we use your data

We use collected data to:

• Scan your storefront and generate CRO improvement suggestions
• Duplicate and modify your theme on your behalf
• Power the AI chat interface to generate theme code
• Improve our app’s performance and features

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

• AI model providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) solely to process your requests
• Hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to operate the app

All third-party providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as the app is installed. Upon uninstallation, your data is deleted within 30 days.

6. Merchant rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Uninstall the app at any time

7. Website & newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored with our email provider (Mailchimp) and used only to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Personalised video pages on this website are private links; we record only that the page was opened.

8. Compliance

We comply with Shopify’s API terms and mandatory webhook requirements, including customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
